I’m in sort of a mellow, reflective mood. I’m doing some work and I put on some Hagood Hardy which I tend to only pull out when I’m in a quiet and reserved mood. I’m ready for colder weather. It’s funny that as much as I love cold weather that I’d be such a die hard southerner with no desire to live anywhere else. I mean we only get a few weeks of cold weather every year and yet I crave it every single year.
We’re heading out west (West Texas that is) to go hunting in two weekends. We usually go later in the year or early January when it’s colder than a witches tit. Last year I damn near froze to death and I loved every minute of it. So anyway, we’re going hunting for a long weekend and I plan to let my daughter have more fun than a human being should be allowed. She totally showed up her older brothers last year and she’s looking forward to doing it again. Besides, Amy has decided that it’s my job to feed her this year. She’s put in an order for deer meat, and me being the sap er uh I mean good friend that I am, have agreed to slay some deer on her behalf. It’s a hardship but someone has to do it.
I got lots and lots of shiny author copies of Be With Me on my bookshelf, and so I thought I’d give a couple away. Im terrible at updating this blog since I spend most of my time over at Writeminded or on our Yahoo Reader’s Group so I figure if you actually come by here and read this, you deserve a shot at winning a signed copy of Be With Me :lol2:

I’m sure most of the group members have already purchased their copy of “Be With Me” but I’m still waiting on a new job. Sent off a resume this morning, so maybe soon. Had planned to head out Saturday to find a copy, but if I win it here I could use that money for one of your backlist.
When I finally do get a job, I’ll never go a day without a book. I may have to eat oodles of noodles but I’ll do it with book in hand.

I’m so unbelievably anxious to read Be With Me! Ever since I read Colters’ Woman, I’ve been clamoring for more stories with menage; particularly with 3 strong, sexy, alpha characters. I’ve kept Colters’ Woman at my bedside table as a re-read for so long now that my husband’s starting to get jealous! So thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for making an ordinary wife’s reading hours so incredibly enjoyable! Since Colters’ Woman I’ve snapped up everything you’ve written and you never disappoint! A late congrats on your release of ‘Be With Me’!! Yes, our Borders had it out ~10 days early & it looked great on the shelves! The colors made it very distinctive & your books sit on the top shelf, chest high there. The cover is awesome to look at in person & even the hubby said ‘holy cow’. Some poster size blow ups of your latest covers would be a great idea for your publishers!
I sat down & read ‘Into the Mist’ & ‘Into the Lair’ back to back & what an awesome ride it was! Of course, when I finished I wanted the next one right then!!
Hope the hubby is doing better & recuperating! Good luck on the hunting trip!!

Hey I loved it, like I wrote the other day… be careful hunting and I hope you kill more than I have, I have only got 2 this year. A 6pt and 8pt. Sad but with my husband and brother still deployed I don’t have but 2 hunting buddies rather than my normal 4…lol.Stay warm and have fun I hope your husband is still doing well. Good luck hunting. I’m hoping this year I’m given more venison than I was last year…not that I’m complaining. The Mennonite community gives what is extra to the poor. I got a pound of sausage as a thank you. But last I heard, the local meat processor has a min. of 8 to 9 deer brought in every weekend and more during the week! I love venison and sure wish the hunters in the family would go back to hunting. (Though I can’t really complain as instead of hunting they’re working.)

Absolutely loved “Brazen” and “Stay With Me” (among othters) and am currently enjoying the “Into the…” books now (all e-book format). Would love a signed copy of “Be With Me”, as I still have to have my hands-on “fix” of print books, mixed in with the ebooks.
